Under Application > Integration > API Setup
This setup screen lists the multiple interfaces that are available.
For each type, the interface can be enabled or disabled, an IP Security Filter can be assigned and a Security Key specified.
Output options are XML and now JSON.
The View Access Log shows a history of the access for that interface. A unique default security key is created.

Feed Attendance into Learning Stream via API
Application > Integration > API Setup > Attendance Update
Students who sign up via Learning Stream and then complete an external action—such as viewing a video in an LMS—automatically can be marked as attended in Learning Stream through API. That can then trigger other automated steps such as sending an evaluation and issuing certificates.
Expanded API Options for Single Registrations
Application > Integration > API Setup
Learning Stream's API integration offers the option to share more information with other applications. This includes global registration responses for individual registrations. Along with other registration data, responses tied to the database, such as department or title, can be shared.
Here is a general overview of how an API works.
