QR Scanner App
Scan to Check in Attendees with the Learning Stream App
Apple App Store (iPhones) and Google Play Store (Androids)
Search 'Learning Stream QR' in the app store to locate and download the app to your
mobile device.
Note: When searching within the Google Play Store for the QR Scanner App there are a lot of search results. It might be easier to just Google 'Learning Stream QR' and locate the app that way.
The app includes a QR code scanner that allows you to scan and check in registrants.
Scanned name badges will mark the holder as an attendee in the event only on the initial date of the event. This will only work for 1-day events.
Using the App
Enter the Account Code and the unique Event Code. Tap Enter.
Tap Accept and Start Scanning
Code for specified registrant has been scanned.
Accepted Scan:
Tap Finish Session when you have finished scanning.
Offline Scanning (No Internet)
Enable this if you do not have internet at the time of scanning. Once you do have
internet connectivity, you will tap to disable Offline Scanning, then tap Sync offline
scans, to upload the scans from the device.
Tap Sync next to the event to sync the scans
If there is an issue, you will see these error response options:
Trying to scan a registrant from another event, into a different event:
Print Name badges with QR code tag
Print Name badges with QR code tag in event under Reports > Forms > Custom Name Tags,
then Design Name Tags. Use the [QRSigninCode] tag
Note: [QRSigninCodeSmall] is an alternate tag to use, if a smaller size of code
is desired.
QR Code Scan History Report
Reports (top menu) > Attendance > QR Scan History
This report/export of code-scanning history can be filtered by event code or date range.
