Video: Creating Registration Questions
Free Form Text
Use this option to allow the registrant to write a comment or explanation on a registration form. The length of the response can be limited. By checking the Internal Question box, the question would appear on each form internally, but the registrant would not see it. Internal questions appear reports the same as others and can be completed by an event manager internally on the registrants' registration forms.
User Enters Dollar Amount
Enable registrants to enter a dollar amount of their choosing rather than offering them multiple choice options. A possible use for this feature would be in collecting donations.
User Enters a Date
Provide registrants a calendar for selecting a date in the xx/xx/xxxx format.

User Enters a Discount Code
Adding a discount code as a free-form question will allow you to use linked question logic or conditional requirements for collecting discount codes.
If you use this question, the default system question for collecting discount codes on the registration form will not be shown. This question replaces the system default Discount Code question.
This option will only appear only if:
1) Discount codes are assigned in Event Setup > Financial
2) Registrants have not already entered discount codes using the standard system question.
3) The form does not already have a discount code question.
User Enters a Quantity
If you choose to attach a fee to items ordered by registrants, you can provide price breaks. However, you do not have to include fees in order to use this question option. It can be used for quantities or any kind, such as free tickets.
Item quantities, such as tickets, subtracted automatically
To permit registrants to request items such as tickets, you can limit the number requested as the quantity is automatically subtracted from total inventory.
Example: You may have 200 tickets available for a concert and wish to limit each registrant to a maximum of four tickets. Learning Stream will count down the total tickets available for you, and close registration once the 200 ticket limit is reached.
This feature can also help if you need a simple way to determine how many persons a registrant plans to bring to an event, but do not need each person's name or other information.
