Video Testing Module (30 mins)
Testing feature in Learning Stream. A test can be assigned to a registrant in an event after registering or being marked attended. Also, this feature can be configured to follow viewing a video using the Media Manager Module.
The basic Test setup steps are:
- Under Admin > Test Management > Scoring Methods click Add Test Score Option to add a Basic Scoring method based on Automatic scoring with Pass/Fail criteria.
- Under Admin > Test Management > System Tests click Add System Test. Name your test, assign your Basic Scoring method, deselect Record Scores Only, and configure the settings as desired.
- On the list of System Tests page click Questions to the left of your System Test and create the questions for that test.
- In your event under Event Setup > General in the Event Tools section select Test Score Tracking, save changes, and refresh your page.
- Click the Testing option on the event vertical buttons section to the left.
- Click Add System Test then click to Select a system test to assign to the event.
- Edit the test and check to Enable the test and configure the settings as desired.
Below are the detailed test setup steps that also include steps if the registrant is watching a video and taking a test.
Testing Module Setup
If the registrant is taking a test, following viewing of a video uploaded in the account in Learning Stream, the page that displays for them might look something like this:
Clicking Start the Test, they will be taken to the first question on the test:
The test can be set up for multiple choices to be the correct answer, or you can set it up so that there is only one correct answer.

Once they qualify to take the test, they will receive the Test Notification Email. Example of this is after they watch a required video.
Test Notification Email example:
The [TestNotice] tag is what the registrant clicks to get to their copy of the test.
If they pass the test, this will show that they passed and see their result.
If they did not pass the test, then they will receive the test failure email.

New Testing Question Options - 11/27/2023
1) The first option is the ability to clear your response before moving on to the next question.
2) The second is the ability to configure a question as either a single radio button response (current functionality which all existing questions will default to) or as a checkbox response allowing the user to select multiple answers. To get credit for the question, the user must select all responses that have been configured as correct. For example.... if a question has 4 responses, A, B, C and D..... and the question is configured for A and C to be correct, the user must answer A and C to get credit for the question. There is no partial credit for answering A or C. Also, answering A, C and D would be incorrect.
Assigning the Test to the Event
In the event, under Event Setup > General, in the Event Tools section, select Test Score Tracking and Save Changes. A new blue event tab called Testing will appear to the left, in the vertical column of event tabs.
Under Testing to the left, Add a system test
